    [The original host was Edgar Bergen up until 1958. But in the
     second year of the Daytime version, a change was needed. So
     stand-up comic Johnny Carson was brought in to replace Bergen.
     Johnny's announcer was Ed McMahon, who began his long career
     as Carson's sidekick with this show.]
