Susan's Show (children)

    [this show originated as a local children's show in Chicago in
     1956, but was picked up the next year by the network; the most
     unusual thing was its host -- a 12-year old girl -- named
     Susan Heinkel; Susan and her dog named Rusty were transported
     to a fantasy land set called "Wonderville" a land populated
     by stuffed animals and talking puppets;

     Although it only lasted on the network one year, it was an
     ambitious project since it aired 5-days a week...]
