The Greatest Show On Earth (circus drama, starring Stu Erwin and Jack Palance)

    (ABC Primetime, 1963 - 1964)

Theme: "March Of The Clowns" from the film "Billy Rose's Jumbo"

[Verified in "The Complete Directory to Prime-Time Network
and Cable TV Shows" by Tim Brooks and Earle Marsh; Apparently
(as indicated by the date this was filed for copyright), this
was composed for the 1962 film version of the musical called
"Billy Rose's 'Jumbo'", and was not among the original 1935
broadway musical production numbers in "Jumbo" as listed in
the book "Show Tunes" by Steven Suskin.

Although lyricist Lorenz Hart was deceased in 1962, and the
piece is instrumental, ASCAP credits both composer and lyricist
for the original "Jumbo" musical production. However copyright
records list Richard Rodgers only as its composer.]

Composer: music by Richard Rodgers (ASCAP), with
lyric credit to Lorenz ("Larry") Hart (ASCAP)
